Assessment Terms of Use

1. Informational purpose

CogniBloomVR assessments (Tier 1 Quick Screener, Tier 2 Assessment, Tier 3 Comprehensive Assessment) are informational. Tier 1 and Tier 2 results are not a clinical opinion, a diagnosis, or a substitute for evaluation by a qualified professional.

Reports describe performance patterns on the tasks completed at the time of testing. Performance can be affected by tiredness, mood, distractions, device, language and familiarity with technology.

2. No individual professional review (Tier 1 and Tier 2)

No professional reviews individual Tier 1 or Tier 2 results. Reports are generated automatically from clinically reviewed templates, thresholds and language. A clinician review can be added by upgrading to Tier 3.

3. Tier 3 psychologist debrief

Tier 3 adds a session with a psychologist who explains the results, answers questions and discusses next steps. The debrief is a consultation about assessment results; any formal diagnosis would require a separate, full clinical evaluation.

4. Who is responsible for what

CogniBloomVR is responsible for: delivering the tasks as designed; scoring them accurately; generating reports from clinically signed-off templates; protecting your data under our Privacy Policy; and, for Tier 3, providing a qualified psychologist for the debrief.

You (or the parent/guardian) are responsible for: giving accurate age and background information; completing tasks without help unless instructed; ensuring a child is supervised; and deciding what actions to take based on the report, including seeking professional advice.

The Tier 3 psychologist is responsible for: the accuracy and professional standard of the explanation and advice given during the debrief.

Schools, employers or others you share a report with are responsible for how they use it. Reports must not be used as the sole basis for educational, employment, legal or medical decisions.

5. Children

Assessments for anyone under 18 must be set up by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on the child's behalf. Every child result includes a recommendation to add a psychologist debrief.

6. Upgrade prompts and credit

Flagged or borderline results, and all results for children, automatically include an invitation to upgrade to Tier 3. The full ₦45,000 paid for Tier 2 is credited toward Tier 3 when upgrading on the same account.

7. Clinical quality control

Report templates, score thresholds, upgrade triggers and plain-language wording are reviewed and signed off by the CogniBloomVR Clinical Team (cognibloomvr.org). Current version: , signed off .

8. Emergencies

Assessments are not an emergency service. If you are worried about someone's immediate safety or a sudden change in thinking, speech or movement, contact local emergency services right away.

9. Payments and refunds

Tier 2 and Tier 3 are one-time purchases. Refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
